Cedar and Sapphire- a match made in jewellery heaven! This piece was crafted from silver metal clay using a piece of foraged cedar. Hand formed, shaped and kiln fired into what is now .925 sterling silver. A flush set sapphire (very pale blue in colour) was added to compliment this statement piece.
This necklace was made with .925 sterling silver chain, .925 silver metal clay and a flush set Ceylon Sapphire (unheated). It is finished with a matte polish.
Chain Length 21.5 inches.
Pendant itself measures 2.5 cm across by 3.5 cm down.
